2023 Board of Review Meeting Schedule.
Pursuant to the laws of the state of Michigan and the Township General Law, the following constitute the 2023 annual meeting dates for the Byron Township Board of Review, all meetings will be held at the Byron Township Offices. Meetings can be attended either in person, virtual, or by letter appeal:
March 7, 2023-9:00am- Organization Meeting for the purpose of receiving the certified Assessment Rolls and for making initial corrections as necessary.
March 13, 2023 9:00am-5:30pm- For the purpose of hearing appeals of valuation, classification, poverty exemption and disabled Veterans exemptions.
March 14, 2023 1:00pm-9:00pm- For the purpose of hearing appeals of valuation, classification, poverty exemption and disabled Veterans exemptions.
July 18, 2023 9:00am- For the purpose of making corrections to the assessment rolls based on mutual mistake of fact, qualified errors, qualified Principle Residence adjustments and for hearing appeals requesting poverty exemption and disabled Veterans exemptions.
December 12, 2023 9:00am- For the purpose of making corrections to the assessment rolls based on mutual mistake of fact, qualified errors, qualified Principle Residence adjustments and for hearing appeals requesting poverty exemption and disabled Veterans exemptions.
