Payment Options

Auto Pay
With Auto Pay your quarterly utility payment is automatically drafted from checking or saving account around the 20th of the month your bill is due. There are no service fees and it is safe and secure. No more worrying about due dates, late fees, or having your service stopped.

If you are interested, please fill out an ACH Application and return it to our office along with a voided check so that we can be sure to enter the correct bank information on the utility account.

Pay with a Credit or Debit Card
Utility payments can be made online with a credit or debit card. Please be aware that the service provider will charge a 3% convenience fee on the amount paid. To pay this way, go back to the Home Page and select the Pay Bills button below the photo.

Byron Township will not take utility payments over the phone. Please make sure to allow enough time for your online payment to reach our office, especially if it is due the next day. Payments made after 5 p.m.. will be credited the following day.

Drop Off or Mail your Payment
You are welcome to make your payment at the Byron Township office anytime during business hours. If the office is not open, you can put your payment in the drop box located by the east entrance of the building, or you can always mail your payment to the address on your utility bill. Please remember that your payment must reach the Treasurer’s office before 5 p.m.. on the day it is due or you will incur a 5.4% penalty on the past due balance.
